Limits of Pragmatism and Challenges of Theodicy: Essays in Honour of Sami Pihlström

This volume is dedicated to Sami Pihlström on the occasion of his fiftieth birthday. The articles it contains are inspired by his work on philosophical pragmatism and on issues in the philosophy of religion. Pihlström is Professor of Philosophy of Religion at the University of Helsinki and President of the
Philosophical Society of Finland.

HENRIK RYDENFELT is docent of practical philosophy and media and communication studies at the University of Helsinki.

HEIKKI J. KOSKINEN is docent of theoretical philosophy and university researcher at the Academy of Finland Centre of Excellence Reason and Religious Recognition at the University of Helsinki.

MATS BERGMAN is associate professor of communication studies at the Swedish School of Social Science at the University of Helsinki.
